Revenue support without selling the newsroom.

GG Bulletin uses a small number of restrained, clearly labeled placements and keeps commercial systems outside editorial scoring and approval.

Placement policy

  • Ads are labeled Advertisement at the placement itself.
  • The launch layout permits one homepage leaderboard and up to two article placements.
  • Game dossiers, intelligence methodology, private editorial tools, login pages, and operational workspaces remain ad-free.
  • Reserved responsive space reduces layout movement while an eligible placement loads.
  • Preview mode displays layout placeholders without requesting or measuring an ad.

Privacy and measurement

Optional advertising measurement stays off until the visitor consents. GG Bulletin stores eligible slot views as daily aggregate counts and does not calculate revenue from those counts. Revenue and billing remain authoritative in the selected advertising provider.

Editorial independence

Advertisers cannot purchase favorable coverage, a higher dossier score, source verification, publication, or removal of a correction. Sponsored or native formats, if introduced later, must be clearly disclosed near the content and must not imitate independent reporting.

Supply-chain transparency

When a programmatic provider is activated, GG Bulletin can publish provider-supplied authorized-seller declarations at /ads.txt. The IAB Tech Lab describes ads.txt as a way for publishers to declare companies authorized to sell their digital inventory.

Our disclosure design follows the principle that advertising labels should be clear, readable, and close to the ad. See the FTC native advertising guidance and IAB Tech Lab ads.txt project.
